sUNSHINE INN COLAB

Here we go again…

A game of doubles pool. BTB kirribilli Vs. Sunshine inn / Golden gully.

We were doing great, up three games to two. First to five wins… We were feeling good & had a great idea… We would bet (yet again) the keys to our cafe.

There was something in the air & i’m pretty sure it was the stink of the following games that BTB lost in quick succession to the Sunshine crew. Turns out we couldn’t give this cafe away.

Again the idea of early mornings, low margins & long hours scared the lads off the idea taking the keys to our humble little establishment.

Instead, they opted for a “take-over” of their newest venue The Sunshine inn. We did the menu, they did the booze…we did the dishes.

The menu was great, we had a criteria of vegan bar snacks & eight weeks to come up with something special. in the end we came up with a six course degustation paired with cocktails.

It was a sell out, we had a helluva time & the only criticism was that Cam kept breaking vases as he walked past tables.

He swears it was an accident.

Needless to say, it wont be the last collaboration between two great venues and even better mates !
